Job summary

KALCON is seeking a Tool Install Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute multiple tool installation projects in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will act as the main liaison among customers, engineering teams, AHJs, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and quality.

The role is on-site in Oregon, requires strong scheduling, vendor coordination, and EH&S compliance, and involves leading cross-functional teams through complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering.
• Experience in semiconductor/manufacturing industries.
• Organized, detail-oriented, accurate.
• Strong communication and meeting coordination skills.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
• On-site position.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers, engineers, AHJs and contractors to ensure safe tool installations.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed throughout the installation.
• Coordinate field activities of contractors across multiple tool install projects.
• Meet client expectations, schedules, quality standards, and checklists.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide feedback into planning and management.
• Read site prep docs and drawings to execute per plan.
• Manage supplier day-to-day operations, scope definition, schedule performance and budget.
• Manage multiple projects across diverse groups and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with factory, facility owners, supply management, design, site construction and suppliers.
• Translate requirements into high-quality project designs for solutions.
• Lead and manage construction projects.
• Handle discussions with executive management when needed.
• Prepare safety level checks and hazmat inspections.
• Assist with close-out process.
• Coordinate fieldwork and technical solutions when required.
• Support SIPP process documentation and approvals.
• Gather technical information from cleanroom fab to define scope.
• Track City permit status.
• Update schedules and Excel trackers for reporting.
• Submit purchase requisitions and track approvals.
• Present projects during design reviews.
