Job summary

ARaymond Network seeks a Tool & Die Maker II to maintain, repair, modify, and fabricate dies and tooling used in production. You will troubleshoot, perform changeovers, and support tooling improvement projects while developing journeyman skills.

The role requires 3–5 years in tool and die or related fields, with experience reading blueprints and operating tool room equipment. Safety, quality, and continuous improvement are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in tool and die, machining, or tooling.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing production dies.
• Experience operating manual tool room equipment.
• Certification/training in Tool & Die or related field preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and changeover dies and tooling to support production.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement corrective actions.
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble tooling components from blueprints.
• Read blueprints, CAD prints, and technical docs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tooling and dies.
• Set up and operate tool room equipment.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify tolerances.
• Support tooling improvement projects and process changes.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality to resolve issues.
• Maintain tooling records and logs.
• Assist training of Tool & Die Maker I staff.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and 5S.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
