Job summary

ARaymond Network in Indiana is seeking a Tool & Die Technician to maintain, rework, and fabricate dies and tools for production, and to perform changeovers.

Under the supervision of the Tool Room Supervisor, you will support tooling across Production, Engineering and Quality, ensuring parts meet specifications and tolerances while upholding safety and environmental standards. You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives and 5S practices on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience working with and troubleshooting dies.
• Experience with and the ability to operate standard and specialized tool room equipment, including drill presses, die wash stations, grinders, and milling machines.
• Technical certification, apprenticeship, or vocational training in Tool & Die, Machining, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing dies and perform die changeovers to support production requirements.
• Fabricate, modify, repair, and refurbish dies, tools, and related equipment to meet production specifications.
• Collaborate with Tool Room, Production, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to address tooling needs and resolve issues.
• Plan and lay out work using models, blueprints, drawings, and written or verbal specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to tooling, including logbooks, repair records, process information, and drawing updates.
