Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products, a vinyl siding manufacturer in Columbus, OH, is seeking a full-time Tool & Die Technician to lead tooling installation and maintenance for the vinyl siding extrusion operation.

The role requires monitoring extrusion processes, resolving tooling issues, and interpreting schedules and drawings. A minimum of 1 year industrial experience is expected, with AWS basic welding certification preferred. A sign-on bonus is offered and benefits apply from day one.

• 1 year of industrial experience required.
• AWS basic welding certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitors PVC extrusion operations to support the tool and die group.
• Investigates and resolves tooling-related product or process problems.
• Reads production schedules, product drawings, tooling drawings, and bills of process.
• Gathers and analyzes data to identify tooling issues and reports findings.
• Identifies and develops process control improvement opportunities.
• Communicates clearly, listens, follows instructions, records problems, and makes corrective recommendations.
