Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products, a vinyl siding manufacturer, has a full-time opening for a Tool & Die Technician in Columbus, OH. The role leads a group installing and maintaining tooling for vinyl siding extrusion, ensuring production supports the tooling effectively.

Pay range is $24.00–$27.46 per hour plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include vacation, bonuses, 401(k), health coverage, and more. 3-4 shifts per week with a 3-day weekend every other week.

Qualifications

• One year of industrial experience.
• AWS basic welding certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitors PVC extrusion operations to support the tool and die group.
• Investigates and resolves product or process problems related to tooling.
• Reads and interprets production schedules, product drawings, tooling drawings, and bills of process.
• Gathers and analyzes data to determine potential problems with the tooling and reports findings.
• Identifies and develops process control improvement opportunities.
• Communicates findings and recommendations to correct discrepancies.
