Job summary

Twin City Die Castings Company in Monticello, MN, seeks a skilled machinist to set up and operate lathes, milling machines, and grinders for tooling parts. Read blueprints, verify dimensions, and perform precision measurements to ensure conformance.

Responsibilities include inspecting dies, performing tool repairs, and assisting with light EDM work as needed. A two-year machine technology degree and 2–3 years tooling experience are preferred; CNC knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two-year machine technology degree (close-tolerance environments preferred).
• Experience reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and specs.
• 2-3 years experience in tooling and die repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints/specifications to plan tool fabrication sequences.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, and grinders to shape parts.
