Job summary

Twin City Die Castings Company in Minnesota seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to install, maintain and repair production equipment, fabricate guards, and manage conveyors and pumps. You will troubleshoot and overhaul machines using a range of tools and may train junior staff.

Typical duties include preventive maintenance, inspection, and repair work, with emphasis on safety and efficiency. Experience in manufacturing maintenance and a vocational background are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools and reassemble equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and buildings systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids, and filters; follow checklists and replace as needed.
• Use tools from simple hand tools to precision measuring and testing devices.
• Assemble or repair wiring, electrical components, and machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and reference blueprints, manuals and parts catalogs.
