Jobot is seeking a Tool and Die Repair Tech for a 2nd shift at a growing die casting facility. You will diagnose, repair and maintain dies, tooling and fixtures used in production, supporting aluminum and magnesium components for automotive applications.

You will perform manual machining on lathes, mills and grinders, TIG weld to repair and build up dies, read blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to a site still being built out to expand capabilities and output.

Formación

• Experience in tool and die repair or related skilled trade.
• TIG welding experience is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Comfortable in a developing facility with flexibility.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair dies, tooling and fixtures used in die cast production.
• Perform manual machining operations on lathes, mills and grinders to repair tooling components.
• TIG weld to repair and build up dies and tooling components.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate or repair tooling to spec.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues on the production floor and perform preventive maintenance on dies.
• Work adaptably in a facility still being built out as the plant grows.
