Job summary

Associated Staffing Inc. is seeking a Tool & Die Maker for 2nd and 3rd shifts in a temperature-controlled, indoor environment.

You will build, repair, and service stamping dies and tooling, read blueprints, and perform precision machining to tight tolerances, while setting up CNC and manual equipment. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, applying precision measurements, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience building, servicing, and troubleshooting dies and tooling.
• Strong blueprint reading and precision measuring skills.
• CNC machining and programming experience (Haas, Hurco, Okuma, Mastercam or conversational programming).

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, troubleshoot, and service stamping dies, tooling, fixtures, gauges, jigs, and custom machine components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, prints, sketches, and technical drawings to plan and execute machining operations.
• Perform precision fitting, assembly, and machining work to close tolerances (.001").
• Set up and operate tool room equipment, including CNC and manual machinery.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying tooling enhancements and collaborating with engineering and production teams.
