Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Tool and Die Repair Tech for the 2nd shift in Bowling Green, MO. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain dies, tooling, and fixtures for die casting. The role emphasizes manual machining, TIG welding, and working in a facility still being built out.

Ideal candidates have die repair or related skilled-trade experience, the ability to read blueprints, and a GED or high school diploma. A quarterly bonus is included along with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in tool and die repair and related skilled trades.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings to spec tooling.
• Experience with TIG welding and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair dies, tooling and fixtures used in die cast production.
• Perform manual machining using lathes, mills and grinders to fabricate tooling components.
• TIG weld to repair and build up dies and tooling components.
• Read blueprints and drawings to fabricate tooling to spec.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues on the production floor and perform preventive maintenance.
• Work in a developing facility as the plant grows and evolves.
