Job summary

Briggs & Stratton, LLC. is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and prepare die molds for production. You will perform welds, polishing, and measurements to ensure tool life and quality, while coordinating repairs with Operations and entering work orders in SAP.

A forklift certification is preferred and a HS diploma is required. Experience in tooling and blueprints, plus basic fabrication and teamwork, are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year direct experience in tooling or die maintenance.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and repair molds to production readiness.
• Perform mold preventive maintenance with production scheduling.
• Use gauges/calipers to check mold quality.
• Log time for each job.
• Coordinate status of mold repairs with key personnel.
• Perform welding and polishing as needed.
• Analyze and improve tools for life extension.
• Diagnose equipment problems and take corrective action.
• Enter work orders into SAP.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
