Job summary

JVIS, based in Ohio, seeks a Tool and Die Technician to disassemble and reassemble injection molds for preventative maintenance, ensuring mold reliability and uptime. You will operate an overhead crane (up to 40 tons), forklift, milling machine, horizontal lathe and surface grinder, and weld with TIG.

Access to molds may require a 3–6 ft ladder. The role requires a high school diploma and automotive experience, lifting up to 50 lb, strong problem-solving, and electrical troubleshooting up to 240

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and automotive experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Climb and enter injection molding equipment using a 3 to 6 foot ladder.
• Electrical troubleshooting up to 240 volts.
• Strong problem-solving skills during PM processes.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble injection molds for preventative maintenance.
• Operate overhead crane up to 40 tons, forklift, milling machine, and horizontal lathe, surface grinder, and powered hand tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues with molds up to 240 volts.
• Remain on feet for shift duration and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Enter molding equipment via ladder as needed for maintenance.
