Autokiniton is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker for the Axis Engineering team in Michigan. You will read blueprints, select materials, and operate machinery to fabricate precise tooling and fixtures, while upholding safety standards.

Key duties include maintaining gauges, diagnosing tooling issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. A high school diploma or GED is required; a Journeyman’s card is preferred, with relocation support available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Uphold the company’s mission, vision, values, and goals in all daily tasks.
• Maintain and upgrade fixtures and gauges.
• Study specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions to determine materials and machines needed to fabricate parts.
• Make decisions about repair and maintenance actions.
• Tooling troubleshooting and problem diagnosis.
