Valmont Industries, Inc. seeks a Tool and Die Maker to design, build, and repair dies, molds, gauges, jigs, and fixtures for multiple production areas.

You will read blueprints, perform CNC programming, operate lathes, mills, and grinders, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires heat treatment experience, fixture construction, and the ability to work overtime and travel domestically up to 1%.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree or 7+ years of related experience.
• Experience reading blueprints/process sheets.
• Heat treatments of ferrous materials through hardening and surface hardening.
• Construction and troubleshooting of dies, fixtures, tooling and mechanical components.
• Proficient CNC milling/lathe operation and programming.

Aufgaben

• Design, construct, and troubleshoot dies, fixtures and tooling.
• Read and interpret blueprints; perform dimensional measurements and tolerancing.
• Operate manual machines and CNC mills/lathes; weld as needed.
• Program CNC machines using CAD data and prints; inspect for quality.
