Valmont Group in Valley, Nebraska is seeking a Tool and Die Maker to follow supervisor directions, machine parts for tools, fabricate/refer parts for plant equipment maintenance, and assist in new product development. The role requires reading blueprints, CAD/CAM usage, and CNC programming with occasional travel.

Working 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm, the position includes forklift operation and continuous improvement participation. Compensation starts at $33+ per hour.

Formación

• Read mechanical blueprints and perform trigonometric calculations.
• Knowledge of dimensional tolerancing and shop math.
• Experience operating manual lathes, mills, grinders, or CNC machines.

Responsabilidades

• Heat treatment of ferrous materials and hardening processes.
• Design, construct, and troubleshoot dies, fixtures, tooling, and mechanical components.
• Read and interpret CAD drawings and CAD/CAM data.
• Program CNC machines using print information and CAD data.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and participate in continuous improvement.
