Job summary

Suncast Corporation, a leading US-based designer and manufacturer of resin products, is seeking a Tool and Die Maker to repair and maintain production dies and tooling. The role requires reading blueprints, machining parts, and ensuring high-precision tolerances while meeting production deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing with stamping dies, proficiency in lathes, milling, and EDM equipment, and experience with CAD/CAM tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience with 2+ years stamping dies experience.
• Must be proficient with lathes, milling machines, and EDM equipment.
• Strong precision measuring skills using calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Ability to perform calculations including trigonometry for dimensions and tolerances.
• Forklift operation license desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production tooling using proper tool and die techniques.
• Prepare new dies for production.
• Review blueprints and modify dies as required.
• Modify or repair dies in the press when possible.
• Machine parts for die modifications and repairs with accurate tolerances.
• Test electrical and hydraulic systems in dies and ensure safety.
