Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED with apprenticeship or vocational training in tool and die making.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role or completion of an apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production staff to meet production requirements.
• Maintain and troubleshoot tooling and dies to ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings.
• Operate manual and CNC machines to cut, grind, and shape metal components.
• Design and fabricate dies, molds, tools, and fixtures used in manufacturing processes.
• Stay updated on new technologies and propose improvements to tools and processes.
