You will be based in our Kinston, NC location. The Tool & Die Maker will collaborate with toolroom, production, and maintenance teams to ensure high-quality dies and tooling.

Strong experience in stamping/blanking dies, CAD design, and energy management practices is essential for success in this fast-paced environment. The role requires a solid track record in tool & die making, blueprint reading, and use of precision measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker
• Preferred Certification from a Certified Tool & Die Maker Apprenticeship Program
• CAD design and 3D modeling experience advantageous
• Excellent mechanical aptitude with ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments
• Knowledge of pierce, form, progressive, and transfer dies and related tooling

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on stamping and blanking dies
• Trouble shoot die problems
• Work on dies while in the press
• Build jigs and fixtures
• Apply EMS/ISO 9001/14001/50001/Green Spirit requirements and energy management practices
