Qualified candidates typically have a certified 4-year apprenticeship or journeyman status in Tool & Die, plus at least 5 years in a T&D environment. Journeyman preferred.
Under the general direction of the Tooling Area Manager, the employee is responsible for supporting production operations by servicing die sets, repairing, and troubleshooting metal stamping dies. They may also correct dies in the presses and use SPC data to determine dimensional integrity for die adjustments and documentation.
Requirements: Completion of a certified 4‑year apprenticeship program in die making and/or journeyman Tool & Die maker preferred, plus 5 years of consecutive work in a T&D shop.
Detail Oriented - Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
