Quanex is seeking a Tool & Die Maker to join our team in Zanesville, OH. As a Tool & Die Maker, you will design, build, repair, and maintain dies, fixtures, and tooling, as well as fabricate or modify parts used in production.

Success in this role includes:

• Designing and fabricating manufacturing dies
• Evaluating and repairing damaged dies and molds
• Assisting engineering with prototype parts

Qualifications:

• Completed apprenticeship or 2-year technical college
• 5-7 years of related experience in tool making and repairs
• Knowledge of metal and plastic manufacturing is preferred
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and ISO Standards is a plus

Salary range: $32/hr to $36/hr plus bonus.
