Job summary

PrideStaff in Fairfield, NJ is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker to join our team. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with flexible hours and pay DOE.

The candidate will construct, alter, and repair tools and dies to tight tolerances and interpret drawings and sketches. Responsibilities include using precision measuring instruments, selecting machining methods, and working with progressive or compound dies.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• Experience with dies and precision tooling is preferred.

Our Client in Fairfield NJ is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker to join their team! Schedule: Monday - Friday (Full time flexiblehrs) Pay: DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Construct, alter, and repaira variety of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to very close tolerance.
• Develops strategies for fabricating die components using the most efficient machining methodology.
• Demonstrated ability for using shop mathematics, handbook of geometric and trigonometric formulas.
• Ability to work from drawings and sketches.
• Ability to use all types of precision measuring instruments.
• Thorough knowledge of machine shop practices, principles of mechanics, machine shop operations, and the working generalities of material
• Previous experience working with Progressive or Compound Dies

REQUIREMENTS:

• HS diploma required.
