Tool & Die Maintenance Technician

Location: Onsite - Union City, TN

Compensation: Starting at $26.18 - $26.82 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour for 3rd shift.

Shift: 3rd Shift, 9:30pm - 6am (Sun- Thurs)

Opportunity: Join Kohler Co. as a Tool & Die Operator at our Union City, TN location, specializing in manufacturing high-quality shower glass doors. We offer growth opportunities, a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Follow safety practices, PPE requirements, 5S practices, & complete LOTO training.
• Use basic computer skills for SAP transactions, work order execution, and profile look-up.
• Handle tooling up to 75 lbs.
• Perform fabrication tooling preventative maintenance, cleaning, inspection, and preparation.
• Use precision measuring tools and machinery to manufacture or modify parts.
• Manage replacement parts, new tooling, sample parts, and gages.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and interpret drawings and prints.
• Communicate issues effectively with supervision, engineering, and quality departments.

Qualifications:

Key Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.
• Effective communication skills for manufacturing processes.
• At least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Participation in developmental training.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of Tool & Die or equivalent experience.
• High School Diploma or Vocational Training in Machine Tools or 3 years work experience.
• Ability to work in a team, obtain a PIV license, and be flexible with work hours.

• Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Successful drug screening and background check.
• Reliable attendance and safety compliance.
