Job description

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on CNC machines, ACME machines, automation equipment, stamping presses, and basic industrial machinery.
2. Troubleshoot, modify, and repair production machinery and equipment.
3. Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair as required.
4. Assist Manufacturing Engineering with process or equipment improvements.
5. Communicate effectively with Tool and Die, Engineering, Supervisors, and outside vendors regarding projects and repair issues.
6. Fabricate, weld, or machine parts as needed (preferred).
7. Plan and execute work sequences to install, repair, and maintain various production and building equipment.
8. Maintain interior and exterior building/facilities equipment such as air compressors, HVAC units, lighting, fans, and restrooms.
9. Move and install large machinery.
10. Work from engineering drawings, schematics, work orders, and manuals.
11. Utilize basic hand and power tools, machine tools, and precision measuring equipment.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.

YOU HAVE:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school preferred.
• Ideally 5+ years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs and computer skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced, multitasking environments to meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of CMMS.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, machine tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, reach overhead, and lift up to 40 pounds.
