We are searching for an experienced Toolmaker at our Plant 39-Bristol-IN facility.
Dexter is a premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets. We have an opportunity for a Toolmaker at our manufacturing facility in Bristol, IN.

Provide daily support in the production of RV doors, range hoods, roof vents, wiring products, and other fabricated items. Responsible for designing, constructing, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, molds, and fixtures to support production. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. This role is critical in ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and reliability of our processes.
Technical education in tool and die is necessary. Five (5) years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in a tool & die environment is required. Knowledge of sheet metal stamping and aluminum extrusion processing is desired. Basic knowledge of crane hoist operation.
High school diploma or GED is required. Some technical training in Tool and Die is preferred.
Formal apprenticeship recognized in the trade, such as Machinist, Toolmaker, or Journeyman certification.
