Job summary

Miller Industries, LLC is seeking a dedicated Tool Crib Attendant for the 3rd shift in Fenton, MI. The role supports tool and supply distribution, inventory management, and basic maintenance to keep the crib organized and efficient for production.

You will monitor stock, assist with purchases, and coordinate with Maintenance, Purchasing, and Production to ensure materials are available when needed. The position offers overtime potential and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a tool crib, inventory control, warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling environment preferred.
• Experience using inventory management systems, spreadsheets, or other inventory tracking tools preferred.
• Familiarity with common hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use inventory tracking systems or spreadsheets.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while recognizing when an issue requires escalation.

Responsibilities

• Tool and Supply Distribution: issue tools, record issuance, receive returns, keep crib organized.
• Inventory Management and Purchasing Coordination: monitor levels, reconcile counts, communicate needs, process purchases.
• Tool Inspection and Basic Maintenance: inspect, diagnose, perform minor repairs, coordinate repairs.
• Safety and Housekeeping: maintain safe storage, follow procedures, report hazards.
• Communication and Support: respond to requests, communicate shortages, collaborate with departments.
