Job summary

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Inventory/Materials Handler in Bakersfield, CA to support Maintenance, Engineering and related departments.

You will manage receiving, storage and issue of parts and materials to keep operations running smoothly. You will perform cycle counts, maintain a tool crib, coordinate with maintenance and production teams, and ensure accurate inventory records through the CMMS.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory and materials handling in manufacturing.
• Strong accuracy and ability to maintain records.
• Familiarity with cycle counting and material control processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, issue, and control materials for operation and maintenance.
• Record and stock parts and verify inventory accuracy.
• Complete cycle counting and support inventory accuracy improvements.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production for parts and supplies.
• Expedite material requisitions for timely delivery.
• Maintain tool control and ensure tool availability for staff.
• Store and locate materials and tools via the CMMS system.
