Job summary

Industrial Contracting Solutions Inc. is hiring a Tool Crib Coordinator/Shipper & Receiver to join our team. You will receive, stage, and organize parts and tools, prep items for return, and ship orders accurately while maintaining inventory integrity.

The role requires safety awareness, basic ERP use, and strong organization. You will work with purchasing to coordinate tool orders and support ongoing site operations with reliable, on-time material handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse, purchasing, customer service or tool crib setting preferred.
• Knowledge of construction tools and equipment helpful.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stage parts and materials.
• Itemize and prep parts for return to vendors.
• Ship items in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assemble tool requests for job orders in advance of pickup.
• Issue materials to employees as needed.
• Receive tools after work completion and ensure proper inventory placement.
• Maintain inventory database including tools and supplies.
• Prepare measurements related to inventory levels and turnover.
• Coordinate tool orders with Purchasing.
• Ensure tools are in working condition and maintained.
• Track annual and semi-annual certifications and calibrations.
• Organize external rentals with vendors.
• Identify efficiencies in the Tool Crib process.
• Maintain positive relationships with staff.
• General clerical work and filing.
• Inspect and receive goods into the ERP system promptly.
• Expedite orders and follow up on past-due orders.
• Organize inventory and WIP areas and Tool Crib.
• Pickup and return rental equipment; on-call may be required.
