Qualifications

  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Order tools and equipment as per purchasing standards.
  • Accept warehouse shipments and check for accuracy.
  • Distribute and accept returns of equipment and materials.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment for proper operating condition.
  • Assist logistics coordinator with delivery and pickup operations.
  • Improve tool program and material coordination operations.
  • Organize and take ownership of yard and tool room.

We are looking for a Tool and Equipment Coordinator to assist with the coordination, inventory, and maintenance of tools, equipment, materials, and supplies inlaydown yard and tool room.

A day in the life:
  • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, materials and supplies
  • Order tools, equipment, materials and supplies in accordance with purchasing standards
  • Accept warehouse shipments as needed; check freight bills and purchase orders for accuracy; correct order problems if discrepancies occur
  • Distribute and accept returns of equipment, materials and supplies
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper operating condition; perform simple preventive maintenance and repair tasks (i.e., make simple adjustments, replace minor parts, lubricate equipment); analyze and resolve tool and equipment related problems
  • Assist logistics coordinator in the coordination of delivery and pickup of tools, material, and equipment as required
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve tool program and material coordination operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
  • Organize and take ownership of yard and tool room
You should have:
  • Possess minimum of three years industry experience
