Job summary

ColonialWebb Contractors Company is seeking a Pipefitter Foreman to join our projects team. You will supervise day-to-day pipefitting activities, coordinate with the Assistant Superintendent, and ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and on budget with quality standards.

You will lead a small crew, read blueprints and isometrics, review piping systems, and enforce company policies while maintaining productivity and quality on commercial/industrial projects in Newport News.

Qualifications

• Proven pipefitting experience in commercial/industrial work.
• Ability to read blueprints, isometrics, and specs.
• OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day tasks of teammates; maintain the quality of work of teammates.
• Monitor and control manpower and tools to ensure efficient and effective use of resources; establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules, using knowledge and capacities of equipment and assigned personnel
• Provide oversight of all inventory activities on a specific job site
• Inspect work in process and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications
• Ensure that all services are performed in accordance with company policies

Our projects team is looking for a Pipefitter Foreman to join our group! You will work closely with the Assistant Superintendent and Lead Superintendent to ensure delivery of successful projects to owners, in the safest manner possible, on time and on budget with the desired level of quality.
