Job description

• Strong experience in tool and die making, including building, fitting, and assembling tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD-generated part prints to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining steps.
• , mills, lathes, surface grinders and using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Ability to diagnose and correct tooling and die problems, perform adjustments and repairs, and optimize tooling for production efficiency and quality.
• Knowledge of machining principles, materials, heat treatment, and metalworking processes commonly used in industrial manufacturing and metal fabrication.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production personnel in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an apprenticeship program or technical/vocational training in tool and die or machining strongly preferred.
• Several years of relevant experience in a tool and die, machining, or manufacturing setting; experience in mining, metals, or heavy industrial equipment is a plus.
