Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ seeks a Development Associate Director for the Tomahawk program to lead multiple capability enhancements from inception to production, reporting to the Tomahawk Development Director. The AD will oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance while guiding several direct reports.

The ideal candidate has strong team-building, customer engagement, and program-recovery experience, with a startup mindset to deliver results in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree or equivalent with 12+ years experience, or an advanced degree with 10+ years.
• Experience leading DoD contract programs with profit & loss responsibility.
• Experience tracking, reporting metrics via EAC reviews.
• Experience with engineering processes.

• Strengthen customer relationships and represent Raytheon with credibility and confidence.
• Lead and develop IPT leads and cross‑functional teams.
• Drive excellence to meet technical, schedule, and financial commitments.
• Maintain accountability for program profit, AOP, and financial metrics.
• Foster a collaborative culture and continuous improvement.
• Communicate program goals and results to teams and senior leadership.
• Lead program execution methodology for clear status visibility.
• Develop leaders within the development team and manage priorities.
