Job summary

Amazon is hiring a TOM Technician in Colorado Springs to support automation and yard technologies within the TOM program. You will troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, and software used in TOM-managed yards, and assist with implementing automated solutions to boost transportation operations efficiency.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information while adapting to changing workloads and priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of Windows, Mac, or Linux OS support in a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

• Align with the operations team to understand tools/systems not working and remedy as needed.
• Own TOM gate and yard systems and approved tools at your site.
• Provide tech support on tools such as ALPR and other gate/yard technologies.
• Monitor processes to identify deviations from standard work.
• Pilot updates to existing tools and implement new hardware/software/cameras.
