Job summary

STV Incorporated, a leading transportation engineering firm, seeks a tolling and mobility technology specialist in California to support express lanes phases from planning to opening. The role collaborates with Caltrans, CHP, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and contractor oversight.

You will analyze traffic and toll data, help develop pricing frameworks, and assist with system readiness for new and expanding express lanes facilities while advancing equity and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of traffic/ transportation engineering or related analytics experience.
• Experience with California or Western U.S. transportation projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support tolling, managed lanes, and pricing policy planning and operations.
• Coordinate with Caltrans, CHP, and vendors on operations and enforcement.
• Develop dashboards and reports communicating system performance and policy outcomes.
• Analyze traffic, toll transaction, and operational datasets to inform decisions.
• Prepare staff reports and presentations for stakeholders.
