Job summary

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority seeks a Toll Road Control Room Operator for the Dulles Toll Road Office in McLean, VA. You will monitor operations, track events, and coordinate with police, SSP, and other agencies during incidents.

Responsibilities include briefing operators, watching the DTR Infinity Toll Management System, performing maintenance on radios and computers, and updating supervisors on critical topics while ensuring safety and efficient toll operations.

Qualifications

• One year of progressively responsible experience in a control room setting.
• Knowledge of and ability to apply communication procedures and radio terminology.
• Ability to analyze data and recommend immediate solutions.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Proficient with computer and office software, including control room systems.

Responsibilities

• Receives and briefs incoming and outgoing Operators on key events.
• Monitors forty-eight toll lanes using the DTR Infinity Toll Management System.
• Performs operator maintenance on radios, phones, and computers.
• Documents and coordinates system malfunctions with technicians.
• Updates supervisor on important topics and coordinates incident responses.
