Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a senior professional to lead Traffic Revenue and Demand Modeling projects in the North Region, contributing to highway planning through large data analyses and surveys. You will steer the technical direction and ensure quality across deliverables.

The role emphasizes project management, QA/QC, mentoring junior staff, and client coordination, with travel as needed. A related degree and professional certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban, Community or Regional Planning or related discipline.
• 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 9 years with a Master's.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform Traffic Revenue and Demand Modeling for toll agencies in the North Region; may lead projects.
• Execute Advanced Data Analysis on large datasets for highway planning projects.
• Lead task management and QA/QC procedures on deliverables.
• Coordinate technical content, direct the project technical vision, and ensure skill sets on the team.
• Mentor junior staff with thorough editing of drafts and QA/QC of outputs.
