Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Transportation Planner to perform Traffic Revenue and Demand Modeling for toll facilities in the North Region. You will lead analytical studies and coordinate project content with clients, mentoring junior staff and ensuring QA/QC standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field, 10 years of experience (9 years with a Master's), and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required; AICP, PTP, PE, CEP or equivalent certification preferred.
• 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 9 years with a Master's degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; equivalent related experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform Traffic Revenue and Demand Modeling for toll agencies in the North Region; may serve as Project Technical Leader for Traffic Revenue and Demand Modeling.
• Execute Advanced Data Analysis on large datasets to support Traffic and Revenue studies and highway planning projects.
• Lead overall task management and QA/QC procedures.
• Coordinate all project technical content; mentor junior staff and ensure the right skill sets are on the project team.
• Provide thorough editing of draft documents and QA/QC of deliverables.
