Parkersburg, WV – Entry‑level, on‑site customer support agent at the Parkersburg Memorial Bridge facility. The role involves assisting customers with new account set‑up, payment processing, and toll‑related inquiries using back‑office systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the front‑line representative for toll collection operations.
- Assist customers with new account setup, questions, and concerns.
- Process payments using the toll operations back‑office systems.
- Handle in‑person customer inquiries regarding toll activities, complaints, and related matters.
- Collaborate with customer service professionals to improve overall customer experience.
- Answer incoming customer service phone calls and resolve issues.
- Complete end‑of‑day/shift deposits and balancing reports.
- Adhere to all attendance and work schedule requirements.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with data entry utilizing a computer.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Availability to work shifts that may include weekends.
- Cash handling experience on a computerized system.
- Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues.
- Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation.
- Customer‑service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious).
- Ability to multi‑task, stay focused, and self‑manage.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
In a professional office environment, the employee will be largely sedentary, required to sit or stand for extended periods while using a computer and telephone headset. Occasional movement around the office and lifting of objects up to 40 pounds may be required.
