Job summary

Quadient is seeking a Field Technician II to install, service, and upgrade equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and train customers on operation and maintenance, ensuring reliable equipment operation and documentation.

Role involves up to 100% travel, collaborating with customers and teams, with a hybrid work model blending office and field duties. High school diploma or GED and 1+ years in customer service required; electrical/mechanical installation

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of electrical/mechanical installation, troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, manuals and docs.
• Experience with mail-related equipment or parcel lockers is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and mentor/train junior technicians.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites up to 100% and work with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, upgrade, configure, test, and maintain hardware, embedded software, and business apps at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform preventative maintenance, ensure reliable operation.
• Train customers on operation and maintenance, provide timely updates during service.
• Manage service tools, spare parts inventory, and technical documentation; maintain records.
• Travel to customer locations up to 100% and collaborate to identify technical solutions.
