Qualifications

• Education and permit requirements may vary by center needs and age group.
• Must have 24 postsecondary units in ECE/Child Development plus 16 GE units, or an AA or higher in related field.
• Teacher Permit or higher issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum supported by learning foundations that connect to children’s interests.
• Create, implement, and maintain enriched, supportive learning environments for all ages.
• Provide excellent customer service by forming authentic, culturally responsive connections with children, families, schools, and staff.
• Keep children healthy and safe through proper supervision, positive interactions, healthy habits, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with staff to align values, education, and experience for high-quality programs and creative workplaces
