Job summary

Hope House Colorado Early Learning Center is hiring a Toddler Teacher to support infants through Pre-K in our new, play-based program. You will foster safe, engaging learning environments and build trusted relationships with children and their families.

The role emphasizes curriculum planning, developmentally appropriate activities, and collaboration with staff to ensure high-quality early childhood education. 40 hours/week on-site with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field, or 36 college credit hours in early childhood education or related field.
• Meet Colorado State Child Care Licensing educational qualification standards.
• PDIS Level 3 Credential.
• Infant Nursery Supervisor Credential or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
• Ability to lift infants and young toddlers into and out of a crib.
• Experience working with children ages infancy through five, including lesson planning.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with each child and family through daily communication.
• Provide nurturing and responsive interactions with each child.
• Provide individualized care to ensure health and safety.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate daily lessons using Creative Curriculum.
• Plan, prepare and implement daily Orange Curriculum for spiritual development.
• Assess each child’s developmental needs and share updates with parents.
• Collaborate with leadership and early intervention professionals for referrals when needed.
• Interact with classroom volunteers.
• Participate in on-site professional development to improve early childhood education.
• Ensure compliance with Colorado licensing and health regulations.
• Promote Hope House Colorado’s Core Values.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field, or 36 college credit hours in ECE

Meet Colorado State Child Care Licensing educational qualification standards
