Hope House Colorado is seeking an assistant teacher for our new Early Learning Center, serving infants through Pre-K with year-round, play-based education. You will help create a safe, engaging environment, building relationships with children and families, and collaborating with a dedicated team.

The role supports daily routines, curriculum planning, and classroom management while adhering to Colorado health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Early childhood coursework or credential required or in process.
• Minimum six months experience in child care, daycare, or preschool.
• High school diploma or GED; CDA or degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for a group of young children with responsive approaches.
• Support curriculum planning and classroom management.
• Maintain records, health, and safety compliance per Colorado rules.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and volunteers to support learning.
