Job summary

Hope House Colorado is seeking an infant teacher for our brand-new Early Learning Center on the Hope House campus in Colorado. You will create a safe, engaging classroom where infants learn and grow, partnering with families and staff to deliver high-quality care.

You will implement developmentally appropriate activities, maintain records, and ensure compliance with licensing rules while supporting the center’s mission to empower teen moms through nurturing, faith-based education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
• PDIS Level 3 Credential required
• Infant Nursery Supervisor Credential required or willingness to obtain within six months
• Ability to lift infants and toddlers as needed
• Experience planning lessons for ages infancy through five

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with children and families through daily communication
• Provide nurturing, responsive interactions and individualized care
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate daily lessons using the Creative Curriculum
• Plan and implement the Orange Curriculum to support spiritual development
• Assess development using Teaching Strategies Gold and share updates with families
• Collaborate with leadership and early intervention staff to refer services when needed
• Ensure classroom and facilities meet safety and licensing regulations
