Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, fostering social-emotional development, documenting milestones, communicating with families, and ensuring a clean, compliant classroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDA or ECE degree preferred.
• Experience with toddlers or in an early childhood setting.
• Knowledge of child development principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for toddler-aged children.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports social-emotional development.
• Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily activities and growth.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with state childcare regulations.
• Supervise toddlers during play, meals, nap time, and daily routines.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and positive learning experience.
