The Learning Experience in East Brunswick, NJ is hiring a Toddler Teacher. The role supports language development, independence and social skills through hands-on activities and meaningful relationships. You will implement the L.E.A.P.

Curriculum and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred toddler experience and NJ licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Toddler experience preferred.
• Must meet NJ childcare licensing requirements.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• CDA or ECE credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging Toddler classroom environment.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Engage children through sensory play, art, music, movement, stories, and hands-on learning.
• Encourage language development, independence, and positive social interactions.
• Support diapering, toileting, meals, rest time, and daily classroom transitions.
• Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate classroom management.
• Observe and document children's developmental milestones and progress.
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
