The Learning Experience in East Brunswick, NJ is seeking an energetic and dependable Toddler Teacher who loves the energy and curiosity of toddlers. We offer a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule with opportunities for growth and advancement.

You will help children develop language, independence, confidence, and social skills through engaging activities, hands-on exploration, and meaningful relationships while implementing the LEAP Curriculum and following NJ licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework/credentials preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing Toddler classroom environment.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Engage children through sensory play, art, music, movement, stories, and hands-on learning.
• Encourage language development, independence, and positive social interactions.
• Support diapering, meals, rest time, and daily classroom transitions.
• Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate classroom management.
• Observe and document children's developmental milestones and progress.
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
