Job summary

The Learning Experience in Ramsey, NJ is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to nurture early learning in a structured classroom setting. You will guide toddlers through language, social skills, and independent exploration, using a hands-on approach aligned with the LEAP curriculum.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous toddler/childcare experience is preferred.
• Patient, energetic, dependable, and nurturing.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing Toddler classroom.
• Implement age-appropriate activities with The Learning Experience’s L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Engage children through art, music, movement, sensory play, and hands-on learning.
• Encourage language development, independence, and positive social skills.
• Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions.
• Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidance.
• Observe children’s development and support milestones.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

Toddler Teacher – Early Childhood Education

The Learning Experience – Ramsey, NJ

Pay: $17 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Ramsey is looking for an energetic and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Toddlers are busy discovering their independence, building language, making friends, and exploring everything around them. You’ll help turn that natural curiosity into meaningful learning experiences while providing the structure and consistency young children need.

What You’ll Do

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
