Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a dedicated Toddler Teacher for our River Vale, NJ location. The role focuses on nurturing infants and young children, guiding routines, and supporting early development in a warm classroom.

Prior childcare experience is required, with strong preference for toddler background. We offer a full-time Monday–Friday schedule, competitive pay, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team and franchise leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Professional childcare or early childhood education experience required.
• Toddler classroom experience strongly preferred.
• Lead Teacher experience is a plus.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable with feeding, diapering, safe sleep practices, and individualized infant routines.
• Patient, dependable, nurturing, and confident leading a classroom.
• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Toddler Teacher - Early Childhood Education

Location: The Learning Experience - River Vale, NJ

Pay: $17-$19 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - River Vale is seeking an experienced and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

Our Toddler Teacher creates a warm, responsive classroom where babies feel safe, loved, and encouraged to explore. We're looking for someone who already has experience caring for infants or young children in a professional childcare setting and is confident supporting the unique routines and developmental needs of our youngest learners.
