Job summary

Under the School Director, you will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum, lead classroom operations, and support children with diverse needs, including IEPs.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers in a licensed childcare center.
• 6–12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• CDA, CCP, EEC or NAC credentials acceptable.
• Ability to obtain background clearances and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, inclusive classroom where every child is treated with dignity.
• Build positive relationships with children and families and maintain daily greetings.
• Address diverse developmental and learning needs, including IEPs when required.
• Plan and document age-appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence programs.
• Use Cadence systems to communicate professionally with families and staff.
• Keep the classroom safe and well-supervised per policy.
• Document accidents and incidents per policy and licensing.
• Follow Cadence policies and the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in trainings and meetings, may occur outside normal hours.
