YMCA in Glastonbury, CT is seeking a Toddler Full Time Teacher Assistant. You will work under the Head Teacher and Child Development Director to provide high-quality education and care for infants and toddlers, supporting classroom supervision, and daily activities with a focus on safety and development.

The role emphasizes helping create appropriate curricula, observing individual children, and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of infant and toddler development.
• Familiarity with Early Childhood Education concepts is expected.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Teacher in daily classroom supervision, including outdoor play activities.
• Promote inclusive, anti-racist culture and YMCA core values.
• Assist in development and implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculums and timely submission of forms.
