Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Clarkston, MI is seeking two energetic and caring aides to support our Toddler classrooms. You will assist Lead and Assistant Toddler teachers, engage with children, and help maintain classroom ratios during breaks while greeting families at pick-up times.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be certified in CPR/First Aid (can be completed after hire).
• Previous childcare experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate care and supervision in the classroom, bathroom, hallways and outdoors.
• Support lead and assistant teachers.
• Engage in active play and supervision with children in the classroom.
• Assist with daily routines and transitioning activities.
• Greet each parent when they walk in the classroom.

Working with young children is never boring and neither is this role! Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Clarkston, MI is looking for two energetic, caring, and flexible aides to support our Toddler classrooms. As a vital team member, you'll provide support for the Lead and Assistant Toddler teachers, building meaningful connections with the children and their families, ensuring seamless coverage during breaks and maintaining ratios. You will also serve as an integral part of the closing team, greeting parents at the end of the day when they come to pick up their children. These positions offer growth opportunities, training and development and potential for advancement within the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in early childhood education.

Position Detail

Status: Regular, full-time (benefit eligible) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm Location: Onsite, Clarkston, MI Pay range: $14.50-$17/hour (based on certification/education and prior experience) Number needed: 2

• Must be certified in CPR/First Aid ( can be completed after hire )
• Previous experience in a childcare setting or as a private nanny ( preferred )
• Reliable transportation

Essential functions
